Maybe It's Time for a New Steed in Your Stable

Have you ever saddled up on a bike and it immediately just feels right?  Well I'll tell you what the Civia Linden just feels right partner. It's what an everyday ride should be. Lively but not twitchy. Fun. Versatile. Quick. The handlebars are perfect for maneuvering through city traffic when going to that next important meeting, at the local watering hole of course! They have a comfortable bend but don't put you into that "cruiser" position. The wheels are 700c and come with 700+32 continental tires. Big enough to suck up cracks and potholes but not so big that you feel as though you are always pedaling into the wind.

So tell me what does an urban cowgirl/boy need in a horse? Durability, versatility, and yes affordability. The Linden delivers with a proven Shimano drivetrain, enough braze-ons to mount fenders, racks, water bottles, and anything else you can imagine. All while keeping the price way under a $1000 bucks.

Now I have ridden just about every breed of horse and the Linden shines through as the genuine article. Why is it better than the others? Because the folks at Civia are passionate about commuting in a sustainable manner. Passionate about enjoying the ride. Passionate about the future. Passionate about designing a bicycle that works. To make a bicycle work just right you have to harmonize the frame and fork with the componentry and all of the little details. Where's Gene Autry when you need him?

The Linden is just one of the many fine stallions in the Civia stable. It was my pick this week. I'll wait and see which one nuzzles me next week. Of course you're welcome to swing on by for a test ride of your own anytime.
